This little tour holds many surprises;



It leads indeed to the discovery of the rural heritage in the world of animals with rare wool of the farm of discovery of the Golden Fleece, while following pleasant paths marked by beautiful points of view.

  1. In front of the war memorial at Saint-Jean-la-Fouillouse (13th century church with a trilobed comb tower), take on the right a path that goes past a shed. Climb up to a cross (view on the right of the Haute-Loire: the Devès and, in the distance, the Mézenc massif)

  2. Continue straight ahead. After 200m, turn left. Stay left.

  3. Cut a wide track and extend in front. Follow the road to the right.

  4. At the Meyrilles farm (discovery farm of the Toison d'Or), continue on the right. After turning, continue on the left. Extend on a path. Go down sharply.

  5. 100m before arriving at a bridge, turn left. Pass the old farm of Fourchade then overtake an old EDF transformer. Leave a path on the right.

  6. In the descent into the undergrowth, turn right onto another downhill path. Leave two paths on the right.

  7. Just after a barn at the entrance of Crouzet, turn left on a path that runs along the perimeter wall of a house. Go hard up and get to the road (stone cross). Follow it to the right and join Saint-Jean-la-Fouillouse.
